Yazoo used the lemondrop for their NHL All-Star beer, which was a wheat beer. I thought it rocked in that setting. I could drink those things all day...

Three winners today... First up at the brewery, Yazoo Foeder #1 (a nice sour that was first batch out of the new Foeder), Omnipollo Bianca Mango Lassi Gose (a lacto-mango gose), and finally Mantra Battleground Saison (from the brewery up the road from my house). Good one and all...

That goze is incredibly pale. Did they no-boil it like a traditional Berliner?

Yeah, not bad, especially for a *6% beer! (*as noted on RateBeer)

I'm thinking there's a good amount of white wheat with some pils... And little to no boil.

This was last night. It's a beautiful color from the berries and has a nice aroma that tells you exactly what you'll be in for.

Image

Slightly acidic, tart and a very slight dry, sweet finish. It's very similar to my favorite sours out here so I really enjoyed this.

Thanks Beer-lord!

Glad to share it with you. It would have tasted better had you been in Asheville. :)

I had some BrewDemon's Ye Olde Devil Nut Brown Ale (I bought quite a bit of the Brown Ale when it was on sale earlier) and some Hop Hero's American Red Ale, last night. Good stuff.
