Mondays are tough!!! Especially, now that it's dark out when the alarm goes off and the nights here are getting cool. It's hard to get out of bed in the morning. 4 hour commute....I couldn't do it!!!

My entire outlook on life has been shattered. I don't think I'll be able to trust anyone or anything ever again. No more will I be able to plan or rely on anything.

You know the expression, "clean as a whistle"? When you get something really clean, it's "clean as a whistle" ...

When my wife and I went camping in Pennsylvania last week, we rented a row boat, and I took her out on the lake. They gave me a whistle in case of emergency ... to sound for help.

While we were out in the boat, I looked at the whistle. It was dirty. I think I would have rather drowned than use that crudded up whistle.

What other things in life have I had faith in that are illusions? If "clean as a whistle" is a hoax, how can I count on anything? *sigh* :(

First attempt on the alt rebuild failed: didnt replace the diodes.
Then they clocked it wrong
I'm just having a ton of fun with it

was checking out the other site, telling Robert that I sent another Bisky care package to Snitty, and I saw that they are putting the old stickies back up. I had to go to page 6og7 to find the actuall Simple guide line, but it's there...and dang if I didn't find a typo in it.

I bought almost everything I need to brew a nice red this weekend...untill I started talking to the sales clerk. He's Aussie. we started talking politics..almost as good as a bar, at least they had the fixings there. He couldn't understand how the Republicans could not do what the president told them to do. So we talked about it for a while, and I explained a wee bit more of how our Gov works.
He kept wondering how, as he was "Democratically Elected" that he could be ignored. Once again, I explained how the House is in charge of the Gov Purse.
Can't remember exactly ...wait, this should be posted in the no post post...ok, in here now...
We got on the subject of political succession... he couldn't understand how Bainer could wind up being President if O and B were removed from office. He thinks they'd have to be replaced with a Democrat beause a Democrat was elected to office..
I guess understanding a Representative gov is a wee bit wierd to understand when you have a Parliamentary style gov down under.
ok, I didn't get the hops...so now I have to go to a closer store to get them.

Just a quick note on the no post post thread. I got 2 first places (2 diff. Classes) chainsaw racing, there were 5 different classes but I only took 2 of my saws and won 2, then I bumped up a class and got a third place. Just another hobby of mine besides brewing beer.

I didn't think I could fit an LBK inside the brew fridge while the bucket fermenter/blowoff setup was in there, but it fits! Yeasties starting to party in the LBK, just 6 hrs after pitching :)
