The South African hop "session IPL" I made that had 3 different kinds (3oz) of SA hops in it, 100% @flameout/hopstand hopped. (3oz hops in 3 gallons).

It's yum.

I call it a winner.

Hey Borgatrukas, Just had a 1st pour on a Mosiac SMaSH and a Galaxy SMaSH.The Mosiac was my favorite.I almost chugged the whole glass. The Galaxy was also tasty, but not as much.I also had 2 cans of Sam76 from Sam Adams. That too,was also tasty. Only 4.7% ABV and 12 IBU's.A session beer for sure. I'll be revisiting that again. Cheers

What I called a cascade test SMaSH APA but not now. A 5, with 10 lbs 2 row, .5 carapils and .250 of biscuit. All home grown cascade, is very good and good lacing but not the carb I wanted, but is good.

Tonite is an all homebrew night. Went from my Red X Britsh IPA to the MACC IPA to a stout (that needs much more flavor added to it) but there's many times where I just simply miss that homebrew taste.

Giving Ken a visit. This is his Pecan Porter. Pretty darn tasty! He's still putting along over here... hasn't been kicked out yet. New building owner always says 6 months... who knows? He may hang on here another 5 years at this rate...

Per-lay!

He had a very small place but while good, I felt the beers (4 years ago at least) were just so-so. I'd love to go back again to see what's going on there now.

I'm drinking one of my SA Boston Lager clones, a 1G AG recipe. Tastes like what I remember the Boston Lager tasting like, one of my favorite beers. I've brewed and currently fermenting a 5G Extract w/steeping grains recipe of this from Jaspers, hope it tastes as good.

The beers were great. Definitely "smells like a Mitch Steele beer" according to Inky.

The Hoptropolis was phenomenal and the place is really big!
