I'm drinking that smoked patersbier I made. Which I really really really like a lot. Except for the first sip. For whatever reason the first sip, the smoke is what hits me, goes up my nose, and it's like ??eeeh wt#!??, but then the second sip, the smoke is mellow, all the fruit esters (mostly pears and sweet apples) come through, and it's just totally delicious. I'll for sure make it again.

When you arrive at the sis-in-law's house (who has graciously offered you Denver accommodations for GABF) and you open up the fridge in the kitchenette by your bedroom to see that she's stocked you out pretty nice... the Ska pink vapor stew was pretty funky... beets, ginger, apples and carrots in a sour? Whut? Earthy goodness... me likey...

Went over into the GABF today. Great beers, but is it weird my best times were convos with my Nashville breweries? Still planning to find beerlabelman on Saturday... didnt spot him tonight...

The table saison I made with Rustic yeast.
It is bubblegumalicious like Dupont.
So it's awesome, unless you hate the bubblegum. Then it would suck.
If you like Dupont, you would like this. If you hate Dupont you would hate this. It's that simple.
