First a 7 C’s IPA, getting low on them and then a Irish Stout. Might be all for tonight.

Testers of the Red-X Vienna Lager where I split it and used 2 yeast strains.

It is not really red, but more orange. So it looks like a Vienna Lager on the darker side of the style spectrum.

The batch made with Mangrove Jack Bohemian Lager is cleared nicely and is quite delicious and very crisp.

The batch made with Mangrove Jack Bavarian Lager is cloudier, so it still has some yeast in suspension I think, and has a slight yeasty/doughy vibe to it. The malt isn't coming through as much as the Bohemian Lager version. I think this one needs to cold laager for a while longer, where the Bohemian Lager version is good to drink right now although I'm sure it would benefit from some additional cold laagering too.

Sorry but that's funny. Hope it's not all lost.

I picked up a few plain keyboards and mice so I would not have to run up to the store. Never spilled liquid on my router.

I once had a random key just stop working on my keyboard. It just happened to be in a password. I copied and pasted the password into a text file to use until I got a new keyboard.

I haven't had any home brew for months. I have enjoyed some local craft beers and breweries but something that has stood out to me for quite a while now has been Sam Adams 76. This is a tasty little beer. A flavorful light beer if you will, more like a hoppy Cream Ale. Pretty neat hybrid, I would brew something like it and be very happy.

I haven't tried that but sounds like something I would like. If you get a recipe close let me know.

I've learned to avoid any hops that say black currant. I'm one of the people who get cat urine from black currant.

Smoked Kolsch.

The bottles that are good are absolutely fantastic and I love it and would make it again.

The bottles that are bad are absolutely horrifying and taste like band-aids roasting on a dumpster fire.

I haven't figured out if it was a fermenter infection issue with one of the 2 fermenters yet, or if I somehow didn't sanitize some bottles, or if I didn't wash a bleach bomb cleaning out of some bottles well enough sometime in the past or ???

I've never gotten an infection like this if it was an infection. Whatever it is sucks.

I unfortunately don't know which are which because it all got mixed together in a big box, so I just have to keep throwing them in the fridge and either loving what I pour, or dumping it as quickly as possible.
