It is good, but the "normal" kind that we get here to my tastes is not the same as it used to be "back in the day" (before 1990s). I don't know if the ingredients have changed to save $, or if it's just always old and not so fresh due to more competition from too many micro breweries / IPA fanaticism, hipsters or millennials ruining everything, or something, I don't know.Kealia wrote:I can't recall the last time I had a Pilsner Urquell - and definitely never had the unfiltered version.
The unfiltered version presents smoother, but maybe a bit more bitter than traditional. Both times I've had in the last two years, I got a pour of regular to side-by-side it. It's rock solid to style. Ratebeer gives it a 98 overall and 100 in its style category, so I guess I'm not the only one who thinks so.mashani wrote:
I am wondering now though if the unfiltered version brings back some the "old versions" characteristics. I'll have to try to find some.
