A couple guys stopped up tonight that I let hunt on my land, as soon as they opened the door to my basement my hound Chester went spastic, he came running out on his toenails, nose straight up, hair standing up and hound dog barking like a mad hound. Now mind you this dog is very mild mannered, my grandkids climb all over him, and sometimes he's even scared of our cats. He wanted to bite one of the guys real bad, showing his teeth and I had trouble getting him away from him.

I apologized and said he's never done that before to anyone, after we talked for a few mins. the guy said he spayed himself with deer scent.
Hmm Chester was just protecting our basement lounge from wildlife. Now I know if a burglar try's to come in Chester will lick them and try to shake their hand, but if a deer try's to come in, he will be PO'ed.
Edit: he was not real happy sitting there when I took that pic, he wanted to finish eating and I made him sit until I got the pic.

Oh yeah that pic says "okay Dad are you done yet I'd like to finish eating now" what an expression he has. That is a great pic.

Kelia's kitty pic reminds me of when my boxer was a puppy; she would be going like a whirlwind and all of the sudden she would go lay down and all the sudden the eyes SLAMMED shut like a vault door and it was like pulling the battery out of a toy.

Phil's pic from angle it was taken at reminds me of the immediate aftermath of a forcibly broken up tiff where they have been put in time out - I can just hear some kitty whispering when Daddy's back is turned.... "A!@# hole...reply...SH#!&%*head".

I ran across these pictures of the very first time Ralph met my grandkids. It was Christmas Eve 2010. He was all like "these are mine? I LOVE them!"

Roger, I always enjoy seeing pictures of Ralph, but every time you post pictures of your grandkids I have to smile to myself, they are so darn cute, I think of my Grandkids.
We should start a Kids/Grandkids thread sometime. :)

How did you manage to get the Santa hat on Maceo? I can't ever seem to get Bubs to wear anything. He'll shake it off or just lie on the ground and not move until I take it off.

He was very annoyed, and kept it on just long enough for the picture, (about 5 seconds).

From our recent road trip. Taken on a back road heading towards the ghost town of Bodie (the place for which he was named):
