The fermentation tanks have been arriving over the last week. They are putting them in place quickly.

Wouldn't it be awful if one of those tanks somehow ended up on a trailer headed to someone's backyard tonight?

I wonder how cheap the flights are to Brew Dog land from my place!

Today is the day. BrewDog opens the DogTap pub. It opens at noon. The brewery portion is slated to start running in the next 8 to 10 weeks. They had a couple of "soft" openings for Equity For Punk investors last week. And it sounds like it all went well. Gonna have to stop in sometime soon. Here's a couple pics.

Head brewer at Market Garden and his wife were there this weekend and posted pictures from the brewery.

So all the beer in the tap room is from overseas?
I can't believe how fast they got this up and running (almost running).

Right now they are running 12 total taps. 6 are from BrewDog, and yes they are from overseas. They are air freighting them in from the UK. The other 6 taps are all from Ohio craft breweries. Eventually, the pub will run a total of 24 tap lines.

I left work a little early yesterday and stopped at BrewDog with a couple of neighbors.
The place is really nice, we played shuffleboard with a couple other guys that we met there. The vibe was great. No TV's anywhere to be found. So it was easy to drum up a conversation with the people there. We had an order of wings and a flatbread pizza. Food was good and reasonably priced. It's gonna be a great place to hang out in the summer on their patio.
