Even with all the beer, which we tried to finish, we stayed out of trouble. Even dressed like that.
Lots of good home brewers shared awesome beer.
And then, I showed up another case. Had a great time, Some great fellowship and tried a lot of really good brews. It was fun meeting y'all and SWMBO had a good time. Hell she bought her a case of pumpkin ale. I've never seen her buy over a 6 pack of anything for herself.
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain

Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Jim, about to crack open your Cincinnati common (I think thats what you called it?). Chilling it now.
It was great to meet you and Lisa. Glad you made it back safely. And appreciate you taking the time to come this way and share your beer and experience with us. I've learned an awful lot in the last 3 days.........even some things I didn't want to know

And yes, there were kilts!!! Inkleg and BlackDuck properly dressed!!!

This HAS BEEN an awesome trip so far. Got to meet some really wonderful and smart people. I'm just soaking in all the knowledge I can. And soaking in all the dif types of beers I can. Haven't had a bad one yet. I hope if we can do this again sometime, we can increase the number of Borg and one day make this a convention that would need more than a house to handle it
And Jim......just finished your cincy common and very much enjoyed it. Thx for sharing.
I apologize in advance for any mediocre beers of mine you may open tonight... Nothing in the stuff I have right now is what I'd consider my best work...
And let me know what you think of that smoked IPA from Yazoo. It's interesting... I'll give it that. IPA might be a stretch, IMHO.
And, yes... no where near over yet. Yazoo tour tomorrow! And possibly a night out on Honky Tonk Row after? Or maybe a night in house drinking some more brews...
