Re: Pictures
The guy on the roof looks familiar.
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.
― D.H. Lawrence

Re: Pictures
as does the guy getting pulled thru the water!
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
Edgar Allan Poe

Well, after jam'n with my new amp for bout 5 hours today (fingers r raw....), I decided to go downstairs and enjoy the fire. Thought I would share a picture of the fireplace with those down south that are getting/got hammered by the last storm. I hope this brings a little warmth to you, it does me.

Re: Pictures
After a while I noticed from the lower window there were deer in my yard. I grabbed the camera and took a snapshot to share.

Re: Pictures
That's usually as close as they get to the house during the day, so I went about my buisness. Bout 20 minutes after I snapped that pic, I noticed movement in my drive, close to the house. I looked out the sunroom window and was surprised by what I saw. Of those 4 deer, 1 was a huge doe, another a normal sized doe and 2, must be less than a year old fawns, if you can call them that at this age. Anywayz, the fawns were prancing around in the driveway, flagging like crazy, jumping around. The other doe was just walking around in my front yard bout 25 foot from the house. Then I notice the large doe was walking right up my drive, walked right beside my truck then sauntered up the steps to the front walk. She took her time, even peered into the lower window then continued right up to the door steps. She stood there a minute gazing into the front door window, then slowly walked on past into our side yard. I was so amazed at what I was watching I did not think to grab the camera. I'm still surprised this happened in broad daylight. I have seen tracks this close before, but they are from night time. This is the first time I have had them this darn close during mid day. Sure made my day! Gawd, I love living in the country!!
