as my wife doesn't drink my beer (or any other beer for that matter) she doesn't care if I label my beer or not. She knows the end results will be the same... I'll drink my beer. if it's not marked, it's Nong Surprise.

I'm too inept on computers to make or share a great label like some of these. Mine is simply my boat picture (< over there). It has Wandering Star Ale arced across the top in New Times Roman, as it is on the actual boat (except the boat doesn't say "ale", brings too many visitors). Underneath in script, it has "Off We Go", sort of a motto for my wife and I. I ordered those online, I think I only have 20. Each bottle gets a Brother P-touch label with a name, abv and bottling date. The labeller was only $20, the tapes are about $9 each, but label hundreds of bottles.

I can't see spending the money on labels, but that's just me. I took a picture and put it in Word 6 times on a page. Put the name of the brewery across the top with WordArt, then setup the label with fields using Mailmerge which is fed from my brewing spreadsheet. I print 4 sheets per batch (24 labels) on re-used paper (i.e. the other side has printing on it) and cut them up, then use a glue stick to adhere them. I also write the abbreviation on the cap with a marker so I can see them when they are all bunched up together.

Sorry Steve, I got inspired and made labels for our collaboration:
I had just watched "The Year Without a Santa Claus" and got the idea. Oddly enough, somebody else had the idea too and had already created the hop hair.
Also re-using an older label for my Blue Moon clone:

Chris, when your bottle shows up in a few days I expect a video posted of you singing this while drinking it.

A label for one of the beers (gushers) I was forced to toss. I'll make it again. And RIGHT next time.

My "brewery" is named 2thedogs Brewery. We have five dogs and two cats (6 permanent furkids and 1 canine foster), so our lives have definitely gone "to the dogs". We name each brew after a beloved pet, past or present. In addition to being an animal lover, I am a sci-fi nerd as well. Needless to say, I am rarely at a loss for label ideas. Bottling today is my first attempt at an Imperial IPA, and the muses suggested a Star Wars theme, just for something different.
EDIT: Edited to include label photo as an attachment, as my original link didn't work as I wished.

I've been using
http://www.beerlabelizer.com for a long time, but got kinda tired of "same old, same old", so I decided to create a minimalistic template in Photoshop that would work for beer, wine, or mead with minor tweaks. I google for nice background images... so infringement galore!!!
Here are a few labels I had made using my template:
Cheers!

I like these very much! My labels don't have a great deal of continuity to them, which I sometimes bemoan. As for the "Googling", I am just as guilty. If anyone sends me a "cease and desist" or any form of litigation, I would consider it a compliment to have been noticed!

Thanks! Your label is really cool too - I love attention to details -did you do the Jedi Dog artwork yourself? This looks ready for a store shelf!
