First bottle of my Southern English Brown.

3 weeks in the bottle. And yummy!

It's so nice to have made something that was not a Saison or Belgian LOL.

By the end of winter I'll be saying "it's so nice to be brewing Belgians again" hah.

Couple interesting beers there guys, never seen those.

Hot tea is my weapon of choice tonight. No honey or sugar in it... it fought all the way down, but it was warm.

After a day deer hunting...I'm suckin down one of these. The guy at the LHBS recommended it. It's a really good IPA. It's not an imperial, so it's no Pliny or Enjoy By, but it a very well balanced IPA. It's got a good nose, but not overly aromatic. It's a medium body and the flavor is somewhat piney and a little citrusy. Very good.

Ommegang Abbey Ale paired with dinner of fettuccine with meat sauce and cheddar biscuits. It was fantastic, especially the beer. My first Brewery Ommegang experience and I'm a huge fan. So deliciously caramelly rich. Went very well with the rich, dark flavor of the ground beef.
