Hah. That was after this car ride... Note the spittle on my window and below it... this went on for 20 minutes... insane border collies and fast moving objects are not a good mixture...

Because I cleaned the dryer vent. Jane told me it took three cycles to dry the last couple of loads. Dryer is only a couple of years old, so I'm thinking vent. Of course, first I went to the store and bought a dryer vent brush for $20. And read up on the subject. Once home again I uncoiled the 10' coated wire handle. Our old house has a 6.5' basement and a crawl space. The dryer hose starts in the first, runs through the second. This might not be easy. First I disconnected the accessible section. Yuck, it's full of wet lint. So I took it outside and shook a couple of gallons of muck out of it. Done, $20 wasted. Well, I'll find another use for it.

I will drain that glass again.

I am drinking ale today."

Because I just spent an hour or so carving my car out of a ton of ice and snow. (I was away for a week, it snowed twice, twice more since return, slushy snow froze on it) When I was done, I backed it out of the driveway, turned it around, and backed it in. And got stuck again. So, I went inside, took off my wet clothes, and had a couple of beers. I think I earned them.

I have to confess, after the dig I drank two craft beers, not home brew. But after shoveling some more ice I popped open one of my Fat Cat Pale Ales (Doggy Style clone). Nice color and head, decent flavor. And my wife brought home a homebrew from one of her coworker's son. So, we're rockin'.

That don't prove I'm dead. I did have chili and boiled eggs.

I'm jealous, I have one keg left and it's in da fridge. Then I'm a dry home.
