Here are our furry buddies. Charlie is a 9 year old Golden Retriever who still thinks he is a puppy. Coco is a 2 year old Golden Yorkie. They are pals, playing every day and sleeping together with us at night.

I have never seen a matching pair of Retriever and Yorkie before.

Actually I misspoke. Coco is a Chocolate Yorkie. They have brown noses and eyes and generally a silver back instead of the usual black. This is the result of a recessive trait that causes them not to produce the normal black pigmentation of the skin and coat. It causes a rather unique appearance but is considered a defect even though it causes no health issues. Her coloration overall is very close to that of the Golden retriever, just with some silver tones on her back. She also does not have her tail docked which gives her much more character in my opinion. The breeder does not believe in docking, and I agree it is unnecessary.

I gotta see about getting a picture of The Dunker up here. He's as cute as can be! Two problems, though:

1 - He's blacker than a polar bear's nose in a coal bin, so he doesn't photograph well

2 - I don't computer very well, so I might get completely frustrated with the upload process and give up.

But he's very cute.

Great picture as always Ibasterd, but Maceo looks a little upset there's no cat hair in the bottle. :laugh

I added some cat hair in with the steep. It adds some depth and complexity. Got to watch our for hairballs after you drink one though.

Some people just can't follow simple directions. :p

Here is Bodie during one of Christmas hikes after I told him it was 8 miles back to the trailhead:
