I finally decided to take some pictures. In the places that aren't being swept by the wind it appears there is between 14 and 18 inches of snow.

The neighbors that have suspicious traffic coming in around the clock and never close their garage door(you can see it open in the picture) still have visitors despite many of them getting stuck.

The view from the back windows doesn't look like there is that much snow but there is a giant wind tunnel effect and the snow is just being blown around.

And here is the deck. I cleaned it off earlier today so I could grill up chicken for my lunches during the week.

Here in the Nashville 'burbs, we have our own problems... So much so that I had to go to the store today to get necessary provisions...

Just look at this snow cover!

We did, however, get a ton of rain right before we went below freezing, so the roads are pretty nasty right now...

Had some invaders in my front yard so I took a pic of them and the sunset a few minutes later. Not the best, but what I got. It's amazing that these darn field rats know when hunting season is over... now it's time to tear up my yard..... LOL, payback of sorts I guess.

That is too cool, FIT. It would be neat to have such a great view out here in FL. Wishful thinking...

Thanks phil. My wife likes this one better, says the sunset highlights the tree row. This one I zoomed in a little tighter.

For as beautiful as FIT's winter pics are I thought, we'd like to see some Australian winter pics. So here's one of a native Australian lying naked on the beach...

Looks like a view from a path I used to walk to the office on when I worked in Bothell.

Brothel? Red Hook? I think you'd better quit while the quitting is good.

I like riding the bike trail from Seattle to Redhook... It's in the valleys & alongside Lake Washington, all/mostly flat land. Easy riding after a few beverages.
