Well said Louie, thanks for being Lululemon. For those that don't get that, just STRETCH your imagination. If you don't get that, then you'll have to use Google.

Yup, THANKS Louie!

I just hope everyone can get over the quagmire and RDWHAHB. It was not them being mean or malicious, just very VERY poor decisions and being stubborn when they realized things werent working out how they thought they were. Being stupid is not a crime.

But it should be. Then we'd have to build a lot more prisons... Like in O_IO.

Being stupid is not a crime.

Being stubborn isn't either.

In business, being stupid AND stubborn is a death spiral.

Thanks,

And just so we're clear - I hope you didn't think I was accusing you of anything with my post.

Thanks for making this place happen.

No worries Kealia! No harm done! BTW If you start having issues with your account here it's purely coincidental! ;)

Yeah, don't want to be a "Brew Dork".

I'll take Brew Dork if it's still available. My Honey would get a chuckle out of that. But seriously, "this is your only warning"? That's a bit silly, especially given the fact that they had no trouble censoring "demon" before. It would certainly have been better customer relations to ask FIT politely, and let him know that any future references would be censored, without resorting to something that sounds like a schoolyard threat.

FWIW, I've been checking into the MB site every couple days to see if it improves (it hasn't). The links to this forum are all still active as far as I can tell.

Not directed at anyone in particular, just a rant:

I don't understand why anyone would still waste their time and go over there. It's f*cked, it will stay f*cked and frankly, it's MrB's choice to handle it like stubborn asshats as they have been doing. I don't care about their nOObs and I don't care about the death spiral that MrB is in. Peter has gone from being nice to being a complete dick, probably because the marketing dept. fell for the "we'll fix your forum" dance and it's all on him to explain why it got so screwed up when it wasn't broke in the first damn place.

BD has all the base malts I want while I'm still extract brewing and I have a LHBS about 3 miles from my house. I don't NEED MrB and their smug bullsh*t attitude telling me that I did not have 4200 posts and that I'm wrong and had multiple accounts when I had ONE godd*mn account and lost my profile, my posts and my picture. They gave no help whatsoever in recovering it and as I stated there, I'm done with that forum. I can't even log into the MrB website to purchase anything under my old account so I removed the link to their log in screen from my favorites.

MrB is dead to me........"I know it was you, Fredo." *kiss*

I don't feel quite as strongly about it as you do. But I completely agree that their noobs are their concern, not mine, I am happier here and have no inclination whatsoever to post over there. I harbor no hard feelings but I have been ready to move on from that forum for some time. I only stayed because I felt some kind of a bond of sorts with the people who started out around the same time I did. It was like we learned together, and eventually each of us broke the apron strings and moved different directions in our growth, sort of like siblings. But if we are going to move on from there, for whatever reason, that means letting them handle their own noobs, which is their business not ours anyway.
