Yesterday I brewed up the last of the Mr. Beer stuff I had making their Howling Red Ale. Feels good to have all their products gone.

I am like you DirtRacer...I have quite a few more refills of MB to kill off so I did another batch of Fallen Friar with HCCD & OVL with a kick of booster. I love the HCCD refills and wanted to add a liitle more flava flave to it. This is one of the original MB recipes and it came in at 5.7% @ 2.5 gallons

Just kegged my cider. First time cider for me. Interesting... It's a really quick buzz that only lasts about 10 minutes.

Bottled 28 - 12 ouncers of MB PilotHouse Pilsner, always one of my favorites but this is the last of those refills forever. This is a good summertime lawnmower style brew and I will have to check out what BrewDemon has to offer along these same lines...any recommendations here? TIA
Found info on their Evil Pilsner refills. Thanks to Sam from BD for your assistance.

Second Berliner Weisse is under the heat lamp getting sour. Been there since Sunday night, should be just about my sour level preference on Friday.
My plan is to rack it to the fermentor Friday night, and brew a new batch Saturday same recipe.
Then after 5 days in the primary i'll rack it to the secondary and pitch the third batch right on the yeast cake.
Thinking about making a batch with Brett and leaving it in the corner for a year once I have enough normal Berliners in production. At roughly 15 bucks a batch I can easily afford to make it weekly, though I'll probably need to get more bottles to keep up since even I can't drink that much.

High Country Canadian Draft Deaux as i used 2 HCCD refills with a booster; got it up to 4.8% ABV and OG = 1.050, spot on to Screwy's calculations in QBrew.
Screwy
Poured it on top of my Pilothouse Pilsner yeast cake with a 2 gram pak of old MB yeast as a yeast nutrient. Correct me if I am wrong as I poured the yeast nutrient in just after taking it off the boil of the booster water.
TIA and Salud

this recipe. Wort tasted yummy, fermentation is active.
LME plus a pound each of Crystal 120, Chocolate, Roasted Barley, and Flaked Oats.

Had a big brew this morning at the request of my grand-kiddies...I brewed up a batch of Pop-Pop T8r's Buttermilk Waffles. 10 minute prep time with 30 minute brew time followed by 10 minutes of eating them all. Happy Grandkiddies all-around.
Only thing they told me was: Pop-Pop
&
Pop-Pop

Finally bottled the 1 gallon O-fest I did as the test recipe for the recipe book. Two weeks in primary, and six weeks in secondary. Only was able to get 9.5 bottles out of it (due to the broken spigot on my primary), with a 1.010 FG, so hit 5.6% ABV... pretty much on target. I have some 6-8oz bottles, but didn't have one handy, so I'm drinking the half bottle now. Taste is spot on... malty, very good. On target for o-fest flavor. Very happy with this, and will likely use this recipe again. Well played...
Now... when to bottle the other 5 gallons of funk that are hanging out in other fermenters...
