Sorry to hear the sad news, Tabasco.

Always remember the good times you had together.

Good luck, pockets. I'll be praying for you.
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

If you believe what the Weather Man is telling us today all of us up here in Minnesota are going to be dead by morning due to extreme winter weather (apparently something we don't get here too often).

So it's been nice knowin' all of you guys and gals and the first one to dig my house out can have all the home brew that I left behind.

I'll come dig your beer out. They are talking we are going to be getting March type weather the next week or so.

Well…. oncologist came back with best news I could hope for.

Back story… I found a lump on my testicle last December. Went and got it checked when it wasn't gone in January. An ultrasound later and I was in a urologists office who booked surgery for the removal of my testicle a week and a half later.

Anyways…. Today the oncologist said the lump was stage 1 seminoma cancer. The good news is that because it's stage 1 it look like the removal of the testicle probably got rid of it all, so now they are just going to bring me in for observation every 6 months for the next 5 years, and then every year for the 4 years following that just to make sure nothing else pops up. So no chemo, no radiation, just observation.

Can't tell you what a relief I felt after that appointment.

Thanks for the well wishes and prayers guys. It's people like yourselves that make me proud to be part of the home brewing community, especially this one.

Glad it's working for you.
Now, with all those Dates to have your junk played with, do you have to buy them dinner first?

good news that
"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."
