They've got bunches of them in that store right next to the DIVORCE COURT!
Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

That Isn't a hood ornament you dummies... it is a GPS tracking device.
You just refuse to ask for directions!!!!!!!!
Funny that that should come up.
Yesterday I was in Barnes and Nobel looking for a book. I knew the title of the book but not the author's name. It just so happened to be a religious book and my Minister just happened to walk into the section as I was standing there slack jawed going from book to book looking for the one I wanted. We said our "hellos" and "how are yous" and then he asked me what I was looking for. "Proof of Heaven" I told him, "But I don't know the author's name."
"Eben Alexander" he told me. "But why didn't you just just get one of the store's employees to look it up for you rather than waste all this time looking from book to book?"
"Well, Reverend" I said. "That would be tantamount to asking for directions."
We both got a good laugh out of that and then, after a thorough search we couldn't find the book. So he asked for help and it turned out they had the books on a table in a different part of the store.

I love this picture of my daughter. It shows not only how pretty she is, but her eyes show her intelligence, and that little half-smile shows that she's got a quick wit and a wry sense of humor. She's really something.

Got my Grain Vittle Vaults in! I ordered at the same exact time, paid at the same exact time yet got one on friday and one today (tuesday). Not really sure the dynamics of how that happens but whatever... I have them!! Now time to fill them with some base malt! Which 2 base malts will I be using? Or maybe I will just keep 2 row on hand and fill the other one with a bunch or sealed bags of other grains. Who knows! The possibilities are endless
I put brewing on hold until after xmas as I really want to use my own grains and crush them myself, especially after my last issue with the LHBS' crush. I recieved my barley crusher but am under strict orders to not open until christmas (bah!).
PS. these only cost $67, total for both, including shipping. They are a little more now but only by a few bucks compared to $50.00 each normally.
