Just wrapped up a monster beer weekend!
Friday night bottled 4.5 gallons on BlackDuck's Diablo IPA mod and 2.5 gallons of Chocolate Cherry Oatmeal Stout.
Saturday I was supposed to go apple picking with the wife - we wound up missing the exit for New Paltz NY and had to turn around at the next exit (20 minutes up 87). So right out the exit there was a sign for Keegan Ales Brewery. The bride said "Let's pop in and see if we can get a beer." Well of course I didn't want to disappoint her so we drove on over there, 5 minutes from the exit. Haha and to my surprise - Keegan Ales also runs a homebrew store!!! So popped in, got a few items then had lunch and brewskies. Mothers Milk Milk Stout = yummmmm!!!
So today I bottled 5 gallons of Honey BMC Ale. I also wanted to try pitching a beer on a previous yeast cake which I haven't done so threw together 5 gallons of Amber Ale with some extra stuff I've had kicking around and dumped it on the yeast cake from the BMC Ale. THEN remembered I had a Pirates Plunder Black IPA from Northern Brewer with crushed grains that I needed to knock out before the grains got staled so brewed that sucker too.
So right now my pipeline is about 11 cases bottled in various stages of drinkable/conditioning. I also have another 6 cases or so fermenting!
