Starting the evening with what is being called a West Coast Pilsner - with Riwaka & Nelson Sauvin.

Drinks like a session IPA and is super-crushable. Image

I'm not judging and good on you if you're having fun at almost 3 am! At 10%, one might put me to sleep much sooner than that!

The upside of working California IT hours when living on the North Coast is I get to drink a beer at the end of my shift and nobody knows (except for you) LOL.

XX but their salt and lime is my favorite just couldn’t find any tonight. I would love to brew something close to it just trying to find a good recipe.

Last night (or was it the night before?), it was a double dry hopped Pliny The Elder on the back deck.

Never seen that beastie here. How different is it from the "regular" version?

Interestingly enough, when it's fresh it presents as a very different beer. Once it has a few weeks/months under it's belt it seems like regular Pliny - which is never a bad thing.

And the cans are a nice touch!

I'm drinking the MoreBeer Bock (the regular one, not the Maibock).

I like it a lot. It's a good kit if you are into this kind of beer.

A fresh squeezed IPA clone. 7 days in the keg, first pour. I still haven’t figured out how to post a pic. without Tapatalk from my phone. Yeah it looks like a IPA. If anyone wants to “learn me” how to post a pic. Without Tapatalk on a iPhone , would be appreciated.

Yazoo's appropriately named local ingredient ('local') 90 calorie ('lo-cal'), 4 carb saison. Brewed with Golden Promise malt, wheat, rye and hopped with Saaz and Citra (all grown in Nashville), as well as local yeast harvested by Bootleg Biology. I can't get enough of this stuff... so much flavor packed in such a low calorie package.

Did you say rye? Sorry, inside joke!
I wish more beers had great flavor in a lighter format. I suck at brewing those.
