Kealia's Levitation

Wow oh wow! My, I absolutely LOVE THIS BEER! The aroma, the color, the flavor the everything.
Since mine came out like crap, I didn't know if I'd brew it again but this makes me want to and now I'll have to. I'll have to hunt to see what recipe you used and if its the same as mine to make sure I have it correct.

Ron, seriously, no fooling, you nailed this one. I don't have one around to match it to but even if it didn't taste like Levitation, it's simply awesome as it's own. What I've always liked about this beer is that you read the label and know it's a session beer. You see the darker color and taste and smell the hops and say, "wow, wasn't expecting that!"
And, the clarity is, well, look at the picture and you can see. If I gave this glass with the Stone logo to someone at a bar, they'd not know it wasn't a Stone beer.

You, my friend, have kicked some homebrew ass! Righteous!

Nice glass - and backyard!
I'm glad you liked it. I was surprised that you didn't like yours very much when I just knew this was your type of brew. I think our recipes were slightly different, but they were close.

This batch under-attenuated a bit so it should be a little crisper which makes the hops stand out even more. AND, I hit this batch with gelatin (which led to whole keg-hopping). So, have it attenuate a bit more, don't strip out stuff with gelatin and keg-hop it and it should be even better. I take no credit for this beer as it's Jamil's recipe from CYBI but it's one that I highly recommend to anybody to brew (see other thread for recipe).

I do think this beer got better over time so next time I may age it for a couple of weeks once I keg it.

And shucks, thanks for the kind words.

Thanks for sharing it with me. I will double check the recipe and brew your version if it's different from mine.

And, believe me, my backyard is plain jane nothing! Katrina killed what little trees were left in my yard.
