What will you be serving for the holidays?

It's become important for me to have homebrew to offer at Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Well, at any get-togethers, actually, but since we're approaching what is known as the "Holiday Season", having homebrew to share takes on greater importance.

So what do you have in the pipeline for your family and friends this year?

For Thanksgiving, I've got the Pearly Pils, South Ferry Steam Beer, and Bit O' Bitter, which should be conditioned by then.

For Christmas, I'll probably be out of the South Ferry, but I should still have the Pils, the Bitter, and the currently fermenting batch of FedoraDave's American Ale. I may have Some Kinda Amber Ale and Old Yeller Blonde Ale, too, but they're smaller batches.

Well, I have tons of store bought craft beer and always have 3 beers on tap in the kegerator. Soon, my RCE beer will be in the tap and I'll have my Black IPA and possibly my stout ready for the Christmas end of the holidays.
But, we are usually at another family members house for the holidays so not many folks come to my house......and really, that's the way I like it. :)

Fort the Thanksgiving the choices will be my Sapphire Pilsner, the Pliny Clone, a Pale Ale and the Belgian Golden Strong Ale. By Christmas, the Pliny may very well be gone, but the RCE Winter Ale that Rayyankee mentioned above will be ready, in addition to the others listed above.

Oh...and for those couple of people that don't drink beer, there is a couple different brands of bourbon and scotch!!!

Demon Oatmeal Stout (BD Oatmeal stout)
Lime Azteca <= MB Azteca + Zest/Juice 3 limes
Demon Patriot Ale <=Franken Brew MB Patriot and BD LME
Demon Octoberfest <= MB Octoberfest + BD LME
Oatmeal Cookie Stout <= BeerRust and me RCE
Honey Cider <= Gluten free for my step-daughter. She loves this stuff. Lactose is the secret to a nice slightly sweet sparkling cider.
Demon Pilsner <= MB Pilsner + BD LME
Simple Saison <= First non-HME. Actually did a little hop boil for this. Based on BigPapaG's recipe and advice.
Demon Double Pilsner <= BD Dbl Pilsner

So far that is what will be up for Thanksgiving. I figure I got a couple more in the pipeline for Christmas, a Patriot Ale and a BD weisbeer. One of the reasons I like extract brewing. Quick and easy.

Probably just me and BB2 so whatever is in the cooler and ready.
Should be the 4 Xmas brews plus we did an Imperial Stout but that may be later. Have another Saison cold crashing and an APA and IPA about ready to bottle.
We have let a bunch of Mr. Beer recipes sit for almost a year that I guess we need to drink but I sure wish that Pride of Ringwood would condition out. :(

I just got Northern Brewer's Brickwarmer Holiday Red kit yesterday. I may brew it as soon as tomorrow. It advertises a quick turnaround, I expect to have it ready by Christmas. The Rare Vos clone is fermenting, I hope it is ready by Superbowl.

Two brews that are in the works now:

A clone attempt of (or perhaps "an homage to") Pete's Wicked Winter Brew (with nutmeg and raspberry).

A Mr. Beer Winter Dark Ale with some oak and hazelnut added.

Plus, whatever is still kicking around by then...probably some Double IPA and some Bourbon Barrel IPA.

For da holidays, I have a 1.5 yr old Pumpkin Pie Hard Cider, a 6month old Choc. Cherry Stout, Oly-FIT IPA and a 1 yr old MrB Winter Dark Ale. I will also have Peppermint, Cinnamon & Root-beer Schnapps, Crown Royal and several choices of red and white wine for lunch & dinners. Lots of Hot Cider with mulling spices.

When we all get to gather we like to play a lot of monopoly and Cut-throat Uno, makes for some fun get togathers!

Sounds like the place to be for the holidays is at your place FIT. 'Course we won't know if shoveling snow will be involved just yet.

I still have some "Pumpkin Lager" on hand which I'll chill and have ready. The kegerator should have the RCE brew on tap by then on one side and the 2nd go-round of the White IPA on the other. I have a few bottles of "Blue Patriot" chilling as well.

We're the travellers in the family for the holidays. I usually bring along my softside cooler. This year will be some Spring Special IPA, Cherry Wheat and some Canadian Blonde for the less adventurous...

It'll be a bit younger than I'd like, but maybe I'll serve some St. Sebastian Tripels, and if I can get around to brewing it soon, Chocolate Brown Ale. Otherwise, I have Murican Wheat, Triple D, and Wheatoberfest left in the pipeline.
