Black Pearl Porter from BierMuncher

So I want to try to replace the porter that met it's end in a rather unfortunate, gravity induced catastrophe and I found the recipe for Black Pearl Porter on HBT by BierMuncher. Appears to have some rave reviews, and I am going to try to follow all the steps both before and after (like checking pre boil gravity etc). Going for a "full body" on this one so that will be something new in beersmith for me anyway. Anyone done this? How did it turn out? Make any changes?
Here is the 5 gallon recipe, I am going to scale it to LBK size as my 5 gallon kit is currently occupied. I will also note any changes I intent to make for comments from the borg.
Cheers.

Black Pearl Porter (BierMuncher) 5 gallon
8 lbs 2 row
2 Lb Munich 10L (may have to sub this one with either a mix of 2 row and melanoided or perhaps some Vienna if I have some left)
1 LB Crystal 30L (I think I have 60L and 120L on hand so whatever I have of those)
1 LB Chocolate 350L
1 LB Flaked Oats (have to check for this, not sure if I have them or what I could sub them with)
1 cup malto-dextrin (have this, never used it, looking forward to it) @ 20
4 oz lactose @ 15 (if I dont have this I think I can get it at local hippie grocer)
London Ale Yeast (subbing WLP002 English Ale yeast, have it, needs to be used up)
Fuggles (4.5%) - .5 oz at 60, .5 oz at 2. I am going to sub out some Williamette (5.0) most likely as I have a one pound bag that was opened.

Hoping to avoid the calamity of last brew day, but it is hard. You get out of pracitce, have too many animals running around etc, but I want to learn the science part of the hobby better to allow me to maximize the artistic portion of it :)
Cheers
jeff

Have not made his Black Pearl yet, but have made his Tits-up IIPA (great beer). His Centennial Blonde stays on tap at all times. So I say you CANNOT go wrong with a BierMuncher recipe.
I have his Outer Limits, SWMBO Slayer and Black Pearl loaded in BeerSmith. One day they will be brewed. :clink:
