Anybody listen to BrewStrong podcasts?

For those that don't know about this, it's typically Jamil and John Palmer taking on different topics, answering questions and just generally sharing information while being extremely entertaining. Basically, it's a couple of guys talking about beer stuff.
What I've found to be the funniest part is listening to Jamil read the live commercials for Adam & Eve. Half the time he cracks up and I remember the first time he did it - he sounded so uncomfortable it was hilarious.
For anybody interested, they are available
here.

I have occasionally but not often enough. It's a good podcast and there are many I often miss.

I have a 90-minute commute home so every couple of weeks I download the new stuff and listen. You HAVE to hear him read that ad....it's hilarious.
Under SHOWS & PODCASTS are the other shows they tape, too. This is where I've gotten a few recipes including the infamous Levitation clone.

Go ahead and hate me but I get to work in 8 minutes and it only takes me 12 to go back in the afternoon.
How's that for a threadjak and bragging rights? I just couldn't think of spending 3 hours of every day driving and you have my pity. But I guess if I made the big bucks you make, I could find a way to make it happen.

I'm gonna bust your bubble. Takes me less than 1 minute to get to... work.. and less than a minute to get... home. Beat that.

Same story here -- I walk downstairs into the finished basement, and I'm at work. I walk back upstairs, and I'm home.
And I cannot tell you how much I
LOVE that!!
Back on topic - I regularly listen to Jamil and Palmer podcasts while working out at the gym. I also listen to Jamil's other show w/ Tasty McDole, Brewing With Style. If you can't learn something about brewing by listening to Jamil, you just aren't paying attention.
Also, I listen to BeerSmith podcasts, and the occasional Basic Brewing Radio, depending on the topic.
Jamil's forced attempts at segueing into the Adam & Eve spot are entertaining in their own right.

I listened to the 10.14.13 Q&A show yesterday on the drive home and at about the one-hour mark they talked about Mr Beer for just a minute. They re-emphasized what we already know. Take a good brewer who practices good sanitizing and good temp control and they can make a darn good beer with it. They were talking about how important those two basic steps were because somebody was asking a question about filtering their C02 from the tank to the keg. Jamil's stance was to focus on the basics and that's how they got on the Mr Beer tangent.

Haven't listened to that one yet, but that's not surprising to hear. Once you take care of sanitization, which is obviously of utmost importance, Jamil's philosophy is that the three most important things you can do to improve your beers are: temp control, temp control and temp control. And pitching enough healthy yeast, too. Considering that he's won gobs of awards, written books, and is now a professional brewer, I'd say his opinions carry some weight.
