Just how big is a conical?

Just ordered a Brew Demon conical, airlock, and a Shedu Stout recipe. I'm all in on BD since they gave forum members a nice little discount, but I was wondering how big the conical fermenter will be. I have a cooler that I use for temperature control, so I hope the new gear will fit, but I'm not sure. Anybody know the dimensions of the BD conical?

That's a great write-up by Louie. Thanks for the link, Rick!

How tall is the fermenter?
The fermenter including lid sits 9.25 inches wide and just under 16 inches tall. With its base it sits just over 10 inches wide and 16" tall. And depending on the type of airlock you use, it can add another 3 - 5 inches to its height.
From the Brew Demon site.

I've switched pretty much to the LBCs, but if I was going to ferment in a cooler I would probably have stuck with LBKs.
I just brew styles to fit with what seasonal temperatures I have. I'm weird.

Can you get lager temps in your house without a fridge or anything?

depends on the house and the time of year. i do not have certral heat, so my house can get quite cool during the winter.

I can make lagers with certain yeasts 2 months out of the year in my basement. (January/February). So that's when I do them.

Nice. I don't have a basement, and the heat is kept pretty high, so I use the cooler and ice to control tempo.
Edit: I mean temps, not tempo. Talking beer not music.

The conical fits into my cooler but without the airlock attached which is a bummer, so I'm in the market for a taller cooler.

Alright. That's just plain weird; When I click on the link the page comes up just fine but then I get little snow flakes (that's what I'm going to call them even though they're little white dots) drifting down from the top of the page. I thought I was having some kind of seventies flash-back or something!
Edit to add...Ooooo-ooooo! They even drift in the direction of the curser.
