It's Too Bad...

Post by Chuck N »

...that Mr Beer already domained the name becuase this truly is the "Mr. Beer" to the world of home brewing just as "Mr. Coffee" is to the coffee brewing world:

Things men have made with wakened hands, and put soft life into
Are awake through years with transferred touch and go on glowing
For long years.
And for this reason some old things are lovely
Warm still with the life of forgotten men who made them.

I've seen this before and think that takes the fun out of brewing. However, if someone gave me one, I'd take it!

Interesting for sure. Would definitely short'n da brew day, but also take from the enjoyment of brewing IMHO. Set and forget. I would try one if given to me, but I don't see that happening. I volunteer to be a beta tester, but would not buy it. Probably be cheaper to go out and buy a car.

It could come in handy for those times when you need/want something in the pipeline and just don't have the time to go full force. Then again, the LBK/LBC with some refills fills that need/want as well.
