One of my used, ball lock kegs is giving me trouble. Simply put, nothing comes out. I had a slow flow awhile back and change the ball lock and springs with new ones and it was still acting funky but worked. Now, not at all. No matter how much pressure is in it or what tap line and plug I use, not a drop will come out.

So have think I only have 2 options. One is to release the pressure and try another coupler which I'm doubtful will work but I really don't know why.
The other is to transfer to another keg risking oxidation.

My question is, what's stopping it from coming out? I can only guess the dip tube is blocked some how. It was cleaned with a brush before I kegged and I find it hard to believe it got so blocked up nothing will go thru it.

Crisis averted! A severely stuck poppet. It was so bent inside the ball lock, the spring would not go down. Its mangled and not coming out but I had a spare.
When Hopulation is over (yeah, I did say that!) I'll likely need a new long dip tube since that looks a bit bent. If I remove the tap, there's a slight leak so I'm going to leave it alone for 2-3 days and see how much pressure it builds before I decide if I want to move it to another keg.

Put some keg lube on the poppet to see if you can stop the leak, otherwise, keep it connected! I've lost half a gallon one time to a leaky poppet!

It's lubed and good. I'm watching it closely and will likely move it to a new keg. It's been under pressure for 3 days at 10 psi. Another 2 should tell me if it's leaking too much.
My other option is to drink it all very fast!

So far, so good. It still needs a few days to carb but it doesn't flow as good as it should but it'll work. I'm still not sure if I'll have to move the beer to another keg but as of now, it doesn't appear that I will have too.
