Happy Hef, by Rayyankee

I received a bottle of Happy Hef from Rayyankee in our RCE exchange. First off, my apologies to you Ray...I have not yet sent your package out. I promise it will go out next week when I get back in the office.
Now...on to the hef. It poured really nice. It had a great head that left a nice lacing. The color was a darker yellow and hazy like it's supposed to be. The aroma was quite strong. I got a lot of spiciness (clover I think) with a touch of banana. I don't know what yeast you used, but it had to be a wheat or hef yeast because I don't think it was coming from hops. Since the aroma was so strong, I was actually a bit worried that it was going to come through on the flavor also. But I was wrong, the flavor was quite mild. It had very little to no hop flavor and aroma, and most of the flavor was the wheat malt, with a touch of the yeast coming through.
In a nutshell, this is a very aromatic beer that screams hef, with a mild flavor that goes down very easily. It's a very easy drinking beer.
Nice job Ray!!!
