Home Brewing Caps

Yes BrewDemon and Mr. Beer kits are pretty darn easy but sometime you need a little help from the Borg to get you on the right track. Post your questions here!

Home Brewing Caps

Post by BrownstotheBone »

Check this out. Anybody see these yet? Pretty innovative idea. I bought a few to give them a try. They're coming from overseas so it might be a while before I get to try it.

Looks like a cool science experiment. As long as I don't blow myself up with apple cider. LOL

Here's a quick review by well known YouTube home brewer CraigTube (Canada). He explains how they work and taste tests a bottle.

This is "MrHooch". Essentially, these caps act as splundig valves, allowing excess CO2 to escape, while keeping some in to carbonate the hooch inside. These will not produce anything beyond nasty yeasty hooch. One step up from pruno.
