9 Seasonal Craft Beers to Keep you Toasty

I have had #9....Great Lakes Brewing Christmas Ale. It's somewhat local to me. And it's really good. I'm not surprised that it made this list. A lot of their seasonal and specialty batches are very tasty!!

Haven't had any of em! I sense a theme with a lot of these top beer lists correlating to how many of them I've tried, lol.

I'm there too. I haven't tried these, though I am enjoying my own Christmas Ale (NB Brickwarmer, discussed elsewhere). New Year's Eve at the Club (darling), I was drinking Blue Point Winter, which I quite enjoyed.

I've enjoyed the Brooklyn, Sierra Nevada, and Founders during this holiday season, and a few others on the list in past seasons. Of course, they only mention Founders Breakfast Stout, and don't mention Canadian Breakfast Stout or Kentucky Breakfast Stout. The regular is very good, but the two others are out of this world...

Is the Canadian Breakfast Stout available outside of their pub? I was under the impression when they do a bottle release of it you have to wait in line at the taproom. A friend of mine was in Grand Rapids at the time of the release a couple years ago said they went through 2000 bottles in about an hour and a half and they were allowed to purchase 1 beer per customer.

Yes, I think it's only avail for purchase at their facility. Much like Dark Lord at Three Floyds and other special releases.

Have had only the Founders, and it was very good and would keep it, although KBS is better I think the breakfeast stout is solid, haven't had CBS. I would add SN Celebration ale to the list, definitely!

For winter seasonals, I'd add Widmer Brrr, Dieu du Ciel's Solstice d'Hiver, and Sweetwater's Festive Ale. I've heard that Festive is particularly good this year. Need to go grab a few (one to drink, and one to age)...

I 2nd Widmer's Brrr, it's a very nice winter warmer. I usually pic up a 6r of it round first of Jan. I'm a little slow this year, but definitely on the list when I hit town.
