BlackDuck's Bodhi Clone

First, I took a sip and without even thinking about it, I said out loud, "wow!" I should know better than to not expect something nice from BlackDuck.
To me, this is a classic, West Coast Double IPA. It's complete with everything that screams IPA and the only, extremely slight knock I could say would be that the finish bite lingers a tad too long. But as usual, as I allow the beer to warm a bit, that goes away.
I've not looked at the recipe but I'm guessing it has some sugar in it to dry it out a bit (which is what I like in DIPA's) and I can't tell what hops are used but I would guess Columbus??? Definitely some Citra in here but other than that, I'd only be guessing that maybe Simcoe or Centennial is in here. The nose isn't prominent but one sniff and it does let you know who the boss is. It's not heavy, but not light. You know it's a DIPA but you can't tell it's got a higher than 7 ABV. As it warms, not only does the bite go away but the taste is slightly sweeter.
I could drink this every day and I've had many beers at pubs that aren't this good that I paid $6 a pint for. I can't say it any better than that!
