Props to Northern Brewer

Post by Beer-lord »

I had a bottling bucket for years that I'd keep Star San in and for the years of use, it developed a small crack at the bottom and a slow leak. So, since I needed a few things that my LHBS doesn't have, I ordered that and a new bottling bucket, lid and spigot from NB and got it before the end of the year. I finally got to using it last week and thought the hole cut for the spigot was funky and sure enough, it leaks. I tried 2 other spigots, extra washers and nothing worked so I emailed NB and asked if they had any ideas.
That was during the day yesterday (Sunday). I got an almost immediately reply back that they'll send me a new one! I then asked if they wanted proof and they said I could email a picture just to verify I still have the bucket and I did. It's shipping out today.
Nice work Northern Brewer!

Glad to hear that from NB. I have never had any issues dealing with them either. Always quick with replies and good customer service. My go to company for ordering most anything to do with brewing.

They have always treated me well. Took care of problems lots of help when one of the kits would not match their numbers when I ran it thru beersmith.

I've heard nothing but good comments regarding Northern Brewer. I typically use Midwest Supplies and have been pleased with their service. Both offer discounts to active duty military, and veterans as well. I once sent a request for information (via email) to three brew supply shops, and Rebel Brewer was the only one to respond. I may have to send some business their way to show my appreciation.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

I like Midwest too. Once they sent me a lid that cracked where the airlock goes and sent me one via USP 2nd Day. That was not expected.
Even Austin Homebrew has been good to me. But I still buy as much as I can locally.
