Pretty awesome! Been thinking of getting one of the conicals. If I can get the space, i might do it. Hate to say it, but the conical is way better designed. Nong tells me it's a breeze to.clean, unlike a certain keg with.textures and small openings.

Thanks, Louie. Was checking out the site earlier today thinking of getting some of the refills because I only have one "Cooper, M.B." refill left and am not very interested in getting more from them. Now with this discount, I'll have to take advantage.

I have a question on Brewdemon brews, do they have the same 'twang' (for lack of a better word) that Mr. Beer brews have? I quit brewing Mr. Beer stuff because the 'twang' would almost never go away. I can brew with lme/dme, hop boils and NEVER have that Mr. Beer 'twang'.

Hopeful someone else will chime in here but BrewDemon claims that when brewed in their conical fermenter that "twang" doesn't happen since the wort doesn't have as much exposed surface to the trub. I've made about 4 batches from BrewDemon and I have to say that I haven't noticed the "twang" like I did with some of the old Mr. Beer batches.

Well, that would be huge for me because with the exception of two beers with the LBK, I've tasted the twang on all of them. Some more than others. And, the two that I didn't were one's I tweaked with extra malt and lots of extra hops.

Twang can be caused by many things, even the yeast but I do believe that the majority of the problem is stale extract or poor quality extract. Consider that the stuff came from New Zealand and now comes from Australia and how long it takes to get here.....then how long it sits somewhere, that's the likely culprit.
I've used extracts from US online companies as well as my LHBS and don't notice it.

I wish they had just the fermenter available to buy by itself. Their site lists is, but out of stock.
