My visit to Stone Brewery (& Enjoy By)

I mentioned on the MrB boards a while ago that I was going to visit Stone soon. That day is Thursday. I have reservations for 8 (work related) for 6:30 and my co-worker (and fellow beer-afficianado) will be getting there at 5:00 to start drinking. First up: Enjoy By. On tap.

I think I may be coming home with some Stone glassware, too. I loved the tulip glass that I got served Levitation in on my first visit. Oh, and just in case I can't get my hands on enough Enjoy By here at home during this release, I verified that I can buy it on-site. They do of course limit the purchases so I can only buy.........12. That's right, 12!! Woo hoo!

I will be bringing a suitcase and towels for the sole purpose of bring beer home.

I will post pictures and such after the visit, but I'm so ridiculously excited I had to post something now.

Their 17th is out today so make sure you have some of that! I hope to find a bottle or two tomorrow.

Jealous doesn't truly express my feelings. Hope you can get some pictures and get all you can out of the visit.

Brewin bull, I'm still trying to find Coconut IPA here. It seems we get everything days to weeks late. I'm not sure when it'll be out here.

I'll check out both of those if I can. I plan to sample lots!

And call me crazy but I may be looking to swap a bottle of Enjoy By for a bottle or two of Gumbalhead since I still can't find it anywhere out here.

One of my dream trips to SD would be to visit Stone. I've only been to SD once and then only for a day trip. BEAUTIFUL but expensive place. However, just to be able to see nirvana would be worth it again.

I think that Ruin Ten is one of the finest beers out there (but i have so many beers I truly enjoy that I could say that 1000 times and be truthful).

And if you happen to run into the the beer jesus (Greg Koch) please do a mind meld and get ALL of his recipes.
