Ok, next up will be our Liberty APA and AmeriWheat heading off in the morning to the War of the Worts XIX in Pennsylvania. Have actually never sent any beers to this competition so I am very interested to get the score sheets back from the Keystone state. Slipped up on me a bit as the deadline is 2/9/2014 and tomorrow is the 4th. Hoping the box can get there before then. Had a nice taste test this evening with a few friends and the beers are really coming around nicely. The picture doesn't really due the APA justice on the clarity of it.

It should arrive in time, in spite of all the snow we got and expect to get here in the Northeast.
Good luck with this, and be sure to let us know the results when you get them.

Fingers crossed for sure. Thanks, Dave
I'll post the results as soon as I receive them.

Well the results are in and neither of the beers medaled at this competition. Strong competition for sure as I entered two categories, 6D (Wheat Beer) and 14B (American Pale Ale). The winner of the Light/Amber Hybrid (26 entries) was an American Wheat beer and the winner of the American IPA (56 entries) was an American APA, each of which were beers I entered so the competing brews were stiff and well brewed. This is a very big (to me) competition with 855 entries this year, so you know there are some great beers you are up against.
Awaiting on the score sheets to return to go over what the judges thought. Always the best part of any competition for me.
