The world is a sadder place today.

What I would like to know is how did we start out with such a darling as Shirley Temple and end up - so far - with the likes of Miley Sirrus?

Ratings. Always pushing for the shock value to get more attention. And now that Common Core is taught in school, you can expect it to get a lot worse as no one is required to do critical thinking. So expect a lot of Re-do movies and stories. Nothing much original

Come on guys, this is a tribute to Shirley, not another flame war like the last post I did about actors. If ya want to rant about todays actors/idiots, start a different thread.

I feel sad she is gone, I'm gonna download one of her movies and watch it.

My wife was a big fan. She was very disappointed when she heard the news.

I wonder how much that life-size Shirley Temple doll in the attic is worth?
