What I would like to know is how did we start out with such a darling as Shirley Temple and end up - so far - with the likes of Miley Sirrus?

Ratings. Always pushing for the shock value to get more attention. And now that Common Core is taught in school, you can expect it to get a lot worse as no one is required to do critical thinking. So expect a lot of Re-do movies and stories. Nothing much original

That was the good old days of TV, I grew up watching her. She was a good woman, RIP Shirley
