Borg, I need your help!

Ok, so a little while back I started working on a stout recipe. Me and my friend are brewing it up together for using as a stout with some oak chips from a wine barrel. I started formulating from a recipe the Frozen posted (thanks FiT!) and some other recipes out there. I had a good base and I was feeling good. I was gonna use Maris Otter extract. Well, I kind of got Swen'd. I went to Las Cruces this past weekend, a 2 hour drive, which is the closest HBS. I thought I would support those guys rather than pay for shipping, etc. I was working on the stout, and found the hops and some specialty grains. But, the malt extract. They didn't have MO (I was expecting that). But, they did have the dark LME from Briess. I was talking to the guy and I got 2 of the 3.3 lb cans. All was good, until I started chugging away in qBrew. qBrew shows me that the 2 cans and 12 oz of specialty grains will barely make a stout. 4.7% ABV, not dark enough, and not enough OG. Is 2 cans enough for a 5 gallon batch? Or am I screwed? I think I put in 3 lbs of Dark DME, and it seemed to make the problem go away.

What should I do?

Just did a 4 gallon stout Saturday used overall 3lbs amber DME, 1.5 light DME, 1lb crystal 40l, 1 lb flaked wheat, .75 lb roasted barley, 1oz kent @40 and 1oz Target @20 and came up great on QBrew color and IBU, ABV 5.6 or 5.8%. Don't have the conversion between LME and DME, remember mine was 4 gal also.
