Of course, I got all excited until my brain remembered my system is ball lock. It is few and far between it seems that I see used 3 gallon kegs on the market.

Pick up a couple pin-lock keg connections and mark them. That's a good price on those kegs.

Are the 3 gal cornies more expensive than the 5ers? That's the price I pay for a reconditioned 5er.

awww dang.. that is a great price on them! gotta think long and hard about this one... swmbo would rather i use the money on her hospital bills, but i've been wanting a way into kegging for a while, and 3 gallon capacity seems like the perfect size.

They seem to be more expensive than 5'ers since they arent as common on the used market. I still brew smaller batches and would be nice to be able to keg some of them for special occasions. Also great for tailgating so I dont have to lug around a full keg.
I just might need to pick a couple up and wait for these to get back in stock:
