Saw this in the news today, http://nypost.com/2014/03/06/miracle-ma ... into-wine/
And I thought you needed divine intervention to turn water to wine this quickly.
Could beer be far behind?

The BeerMachine pretty much promises a 7 day turn around, and we all know how "uummy" that stuff was at day 7....
Cant see that taking off expect as a rich geek present. Wine equipment is not that expensive, and a simple kit is - well, simple to make and easier than a Mr. Beer.
Then again, there is always someone with $499 to burn....

It will be interesting to see how it pans out. I can't see a beginner dropping that much to make one bottle at a time, and the wine elite will insist that no wine of worth is done in less than 6 months. Me, I'll stick to my buckets and carbouys and free fruit/grapes.
