I kegged my Breckenridge Avalanche Ale clone today. I am really glad this is the last time I will be using my ball valves. It really does take extra time to stop and disassemble those to clean them. But I always find stuff that doesn't wash out just running water through the valve. Today I had to pull all the gaskets out because stuff was hiding in those. With butterfly valves once you take them off of the conical, and take the hose barb off the racking valve, everything is exposed so there is nothing to disassemble to clean them. This will be a major time and effort saver come bottling or kegging day.
I am still planning on brewing a Wee Heavy next Saturday.

Are you able to brew by yourself yet are do you still require your friends to help? I've been meaning to ask how your healing has gone. Sounds like it's gone very well.
