Change is good and Crazy!
Sorry I haven't been very active on the BeerBorg lately It's been kind of crazy for about the last week or so. I said good bye to everyone I worked with at my old job last week and started my job this week! Needless to say it has been hectic. Getting oriented with everything that this new job requires has been crazy and has been keeping me busy as heck. I also found out that I will be working for the next 3 weeks starting on St. Patrick's Day in Kansas City, MO and will be spending extended assignments in Phoenix, AZ; Atlanta, GA; and Brownsville, TX. I'm not sure when I'll be in AZ, GA or TX but if you're interested to meet up I will let you know when I'm in your area.
Also my daughter who is a senior in high school has been getting herself prepared to go away to college in the fall (Eastern Michigan) and we have been getting her set up with early registration and how to pay for it and today she went to the school (EMU) with my wife to take math placement test and attend some freshman orientation sessions.
If that wasn't enough my other daughter found out yesterday that she was accepted into the Disney College Program and will be moving to Orlando, FL in August of this year for 5 months!
With all this change I'm just trying to hold and and keep my head above water and my wife is feeling a little anxious with both me and 2 of our daughters going to be away from home in the fall!
This is all good and I'm not complaining. I don't mind having these kinds of problems thats for sure I will just feel better about everything when we have a better handle on it all!
Cheers and thanks for letting me rant/vent/boast!

Sounds like fun. Shipping off the kids is good stuff!

Glad you're still above water Leigh. Yes, kids leaving home can be worrisome but it's the best experience for them. Plus, you'll get so use to them not being there that they'll almost be in your way when they come home.
The big fear is that they will come home and never leave again.
Hope one day you'll be in my area and we get to meet.

Boy that is a lot to have on your plate at once. Hope all the transitions go smoothly for your family.

Such hilarious visions clamber

Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Wow, loads going on for you, Leigh. All good things of course and that sounds great about your new job and your daughter's opportunity at Disney. I know several people that have done that program and said it was a fantastic experience. Glad to hear everything is going well and thanks for the updates!!

Suddenly it doesn't seem like I have as many things going on after reading that...

Good to hear all the good news. Dont worry about EMU, I am sure she will be home when she gets hungry or runs out of clean clothes. That seems to be the way things happen with the youngest up at CMU anyway.
