Nice. I love Firestone's stuff. Interesting enough, I'm not a big fan of their Union Jack IPA because I find it too bitter. The Double Jack, while stronger, seems a lot more balanced to me.
Enjoy.

Another nice guy sent me some beer too! I don't think there were any black IPA's in that box.

Good stuff. Those breweries are all a short(ish) drive from where I live so I go up there a few times a year. Big fan of Figueroa Mountain. If you go visit your friends I recommend stopping in to check out some of the stuff they don't bottle. Their 2013 anniversary beer was awesome and every now and then they have a Syrah Porter (Porter that is aged in Syrah barrels) that I would put in my top 5 Porters. Sadly they don't bottle it so the only way I can drink it is to road trip it. Planning on going there sometime in the next month, crossing my fingers its on tap

Glad to see you got some beer mail from your buddy's but have you thought about how to send them the crawfish etc. when they start getting home sick for the really good chow they can't find there?
Sending beer is easy.

Maybe they sent if to keep you from coming to visit. I know that's why I keep sending you beer,
just saying.
Or, maybe they remember the great friendship y'all share. Yeah, it could be that too.

If I had feelings they'd be hurt!
I've not even had crawfish yet. They're a fortune this year due to the cold and Lent. But I'll get mine and if they want some, they can just come back home.
