yep $10, Out here, in Kalamazoo, I cannot find OxyClean Frree, it is not available at WalMart or Meijers, for some reason. I have been looking on Craigs list here too, but none for sale.

I have found it at both Target and Kroger (in metro Detroit area).

Will have to check Target. Thanks. Sorry about the typographical errors, I get the shakes sometimes and my fingers stutter.

It used to be at Meijer, I also got it from Amazon, but they no longer sell it - 3rd parties do, and much more expensive. Here is exactly what it looks like - it should be around $8 before tax for 3lbs. I bought one from Meijer, then Amazon cheaper, and really don't even need the 2nd one but it's way past returning it I think. If I recall correctly (and I may not be), make sure you look both in the laundry soap area AND in the pre-cleaner area. I vaguely recall it not being where I thought it was.

I also get bottles for the deposit, at my local beverage store. I use Clorox Oximagic to de-label my bottles. If you use one of these products, only use a little, they can be hard to rinse. I use half a scoop in 2 gallons, and stand the bottles upright, full of water. The labels fall off easily, any glue residue scrubs off with a copper or green pad. I use clear and unscented dish soap to clean the inside, soaking if necessary.

Wally-World has Oxy-Clean free on it's website for $7.52 for a 3# tub free to store shipping.
Just saying if your walmart does not carry see if it is on website, if you pickup at store they ship to you there free

One point - many refer to it as Oxy-clean. It's Oxi-clean. Not "Y", "I". And you want Oxiclean FREE. Doesn't mean it doesn't cost anything (buh duh bump), it means that it has no perfumes or dyes to stink up your PET stuff and then impart that flavor to your beer.

You can also get PBW at the LHBS, but it's a bit spendy. I found this article interesting on how to "supercharge" your Oxiclean with TSP/90...

You are correct, Rick, I have been spelling it incorrectly. Mustt be my 62 year old brain. I don't have Alzheimers yet but I do have Part-timers! it just means that I don't remember part of the time.

Hmmm, my post seems to have disappeared from this thread....
Anyway, I have a good relationship with the party store owner down by me and he lets me rummage in the back room for bottles. At first he thought I had a screw loose. A lot of times if I ask nicely he will even set aside certain brands for me like Sam Adams or Bells that I have good luck with. Most of the time I just bring in a dozen or so pop or Old Milwaukee cans/bottles and do a 1:1 swap.
The wife also likes craft beer so I get to save her bottles as well much to her dismay (she thinks I have way too many as it is). I look at it as buying bottles with free beer inside.
As for as Oxiclean Free, stop by your local Krogers. Thats where I get mine from.
