I agree. There really is no substitute for Simcoe but Cascades has some of the traits of it.
But, you're screwed. Finish the boil anyway, bottle it up and send it my way.

That will be really interesting to brew p a small beer based on the second runnings. Many breweries do that with the second runnings from their barleywines so its not unheard of.
