I finally got smart and am using the beersmith timer. Before it has always been a trick to toss my hops in, spray the foam to avoid a boil over, and reset my timer. Now I can just toss the hops in and spray the foam and my timer will take care of itself.

When we have several hop additions BB2 will set the BS timer instead of me using the oven timer and our two dogs go off barking like crazy when each one goes off.
I guess Brad Smith or whoever chose the tone doesn't have dogs.

I use the ipad version for the timer. That way it goes thru my Bluetooth and the dogs never hear it

I just use the oven timer. But then, I am without brewing software.
