Chiller - faucet adapter question

I'm thinking about getting an immersion chiller. My utility sink has a Delta faucet similar to the one pictured below (e.g., not threaded). Is there an adapter that'll make this work?
Apologies if this is a dumb question - I've never looked closely at the various connections & adapters related to chillers before.
Thanks in advance!

I'm guessing that the piece at the end of the faucet will come off, but you'll likely have to work at it to get it off the first time. Almost all come off as they have a screen filter inside to keep up little particles and allow the water to come out more forcibly.
I'm not suggesting you use plyers to get it off but if it comes to it, wrap it good with lots of tape or some thick material first so you don't scratch it up.

Yep. That's pretty much what my utility sink faucet looked like. The end will screw off. If the hose adapter doesn't fit, there is another adapter that you can screw on first that will make it fit. Just need the correct size.

Thanks for the advice, guys. Good to know that it's an option for me, should I choose to go that route.
For now, I'm still getting by with ice baths. I boil 3 gallons, max, so it's relatively manageable with enough ice.
But if SWMBO decides to kick me out of the kitchen and I start boiling outside, which is a probability, the utility sink will be nearby. The thought of adding a chiller to my arsenal is definitely compelling.

Yup....the end of that faucet should come off. Once you get it off, add one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Dual-Thread-Fauce ... B000DZKX5Y. This will allow you to screw on a standard hose connection, which is usually what comes with the chiller.

I'd posted a DIY article on building and connecting an immersion chiller to a kitchen faucet a while ago.

Build Your Own Immersion Wort Chiller
I went to Home Depot, Lowes and Ace Hardware before I found the parts needed to build my new 'Screwy's Cooler' wort cooler. The kitchen sink requires unscrewing the existing aerator and temporarily replacing it with the aerator dual thread adapter so that the standard dishwasher elbow can connect to the faucet.

1 - 20 foot length of 3/8 inch copper tubing
1 - 3/8 inch standard dishwasher elbow with compression nut
1 - aerator dual thread adapter.

One of the key things is to LOOK at your faucet first. We have a "fancy" kitchen faucet, like shown below. You CAN unscrew the aerator, but a) it's not recommended and b) you can't get a hose hooked up to it anyway. So, if I wanted this type of setup in my kitchen, I'd need to put an adapter inline in my cold water line under the sink and hook up to that.
