Getting my brewing on!

Today has been a pretty productive day! With my daughter's grad party right around the corner (4 weeks) there is a lot to do to get the yard and house ready to show off. I worked in the yard and got the garden beds cleaned up and got my hops planted that I started in pots last year. I also managed to make a trip down to my LHBS and picked up new pressure gauge for my CO2 regulator and every thing I needed to brew my Oberon clone. So now I sit here having mashed, sipping on a Nong Irish Red waiting for my next hop addition. Yes it is a little late here and it will be some time after midnight before I'm done but man does it feel good to be brewing again!
Life is good!

Very nice, Leigh. I always appreciate the time during the boil and between hop additions, myself. It's a great time to RDWHAHB.

That Nong Irish Red sure is good. Glad to hear you're brewing again!

It's great to see the man who put this
BREWING site together for us, getting a chance to practice the craft.

What's the old saying? The shoemaker's children always go barefoot.

Oh, I see what you did there...
So, the brewmaster's children have no beer???

Well, not really, no. More like the Homebrewing Forum Overseer hasn't made homebrew in awhile.
It's a slightly different scenario, yet the irony holds true.
