Tower/Faucet Question

Time to bite the bullet and finish the conversion of my kegerator. I'll be adding a double faucet tower, and would like the Borg's opinion on the faucets. Is it worth the extra $ to go with a higher end Perlick faucet or just stick with the standard faucet? If upgrading to the Perlick, is it better to go with the SS model or stick to the PC? Would love to hear opinions on what you've used, and if you upgraded what difference did it make to you. What were your reasons for getting what you have?
Thanks in advance!

I started with a standard faucet and upgraded to SS 525 perlics when I got my double tower. There is a huge difference. The standard one would stick and was more difficult to clean. Pay the difference its worth it.

When I got gifted a kegerator, I immediately went from a single tap tower to a tri tap because of years of reading about cheap, stuck faucets.
You will have these taps for a long while so upgrade and never look back.

When I bought mine the first thing I did was buy Perlicks SS525, too. Years of reading about stuck faucets convinced me that I didn't need to go through it myself to know it was the right thing to do.

Once again the collective comes through. That is exactly what I needed to hear. Now all I need to do is get it ordered and find the time to do it. Thanks Guys!!

Here is the tower from Kegconnection I will probably go with.
Double SS Tower
Going to upgrade to 14' of line (7' each) after doing some balancing calculations, and the Perlick 525SS faucets. My current CO2 setup only has one regulator. I've found that regardless of style, I'm pretty happy with the PSI set at 12. So instead of getting a 2nd regulator I'm just going to get the
2-Way Distributor.
Any thing else I should consider or am I good to go?

If anyone is interested in getting rid of a single or double tower, or has tower shanks/faucets reasonable, please message me.
Updated edit, Genotype came thru for me on a double tower, thanks again!

I would just go with 10' instead of 7'. The calculators aren't always accurate and the worst thing that happens is that you pour too slow. You can then always trim a foot at a time to the "right length" but if you are too short you can't add length. Tubing is cheap so I recommend buying the extra three feet if you can.
Good luck!

Sadly the pics are still on kegconnection.com.
I was hoping for some Father's Day discounts, but looks like I'll have to pony up the extra. Couple free weekends coming up so hopefully I can get this done!
