What's ironic is that while you're looking at them, they're looking at you.

I've always found it fascinating, and now relaxing as well, to star gaze. I've been fortunate to have lived in many areas without light polution... How do you tell if you are seeing a satelite? I may have to add that to my list.

Mt, they look like small stars, but move steadily across the sky.
Alb, sounds lovely. I've always loved looking at the night sky.

Amazing how many you can see on a cool clear night.

I've seen one several times in the predawn hours, going from almost due north to south in the eastern sky and it's kicking it!
Looks faster than the ISS to me!
